Kelley and Ben's Adventures

of our 1st trimester. Yes, Ben and I are having a baby. As I write this, I am 11 weeks along, and feeling pretty good. I had some minor morning sickness, and extreme tiredness, but nothing else too horrific. The baby will be due around June 20, 2009. At the last ultrasound, the technician was leaning towards it being a girl. But it's still a little early. We should know when we go back in December.

All is well here. Ben is stil racing his bike. He just did 100 miles 2 weeks ago, and he did it under 6 hours! He has finished his two classes at Sac State and is awaiting the start of the summer semester. He has one more week of work, and then he has to work on his thesis until he goes away for the summer. As for me, the school year is winding down. I have 3 more weeks of work left. I am excited to have the school year end, but sad becuase I like this group and I'm seeing horrible things from next years' group. : ( In a couple weeks I am starting two classes at the Academy of Art University on photography. That should be fun! Nothing else too exciting. We hope you are doign well!

is going along smoothly. Ben is racing his road bike, right now as I write this. If there had been a good place to see the race I would have gone with him. So, I am waiting like a good wife, next to the phone to hear that he's okay. A hundred guys packed closely together on their road bikes makes me a little nervous. Life for me is good. I've applied to take a couple of classes at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I'm working hard to make my photography better and more professional. Besides that, life is moving along normally (thank goodness!).

Today is our 4 year anniversary. We've had a rough ride at times, but I think our relationship is stronger because of all our trials. Okay, maybe a car accident isn't little trial, but it has truly made us stronger. It's been a while since my last update, but Ben and I are doing wonderful. We spent a week in Mexico last week to celebrate our anniversary. This week I am down in LA visiting my mom and some friends, while Ben is back at work :( We're both working out a lot. Ben is training for a bike race happening in a couple of weeks in Monterey. He's super excited for it. My health has been great lately. I've had 12 months of normal blood draws and the doctors feel safe that my body is back to normal. So maybe someday in the near future, there can be a little Soper running around. :)
